Realization

“We become what we habitually think about” is a true statement.

But the idea of “choose your thoughts, choose your reality”, needs an update.

Because the more I think about it, the more I realize that it’s the mislabeling of things that fuck us over.

TM + CBT have really helped me with this.

So, a more ACCURATE thinking is ““choose your LABELS, choose your reality”

Of course, seek realistic and wholistic labels, but at least something that gives truth to why things are the way they are.

This is much better than simply avoiding negative thoughts.

If something is bothering you, ask yourself these three questions:

  1. What does this event say about me?
  2. What does this event say about others?
  3. What does this event say about the world?

Seek truthful and accurate labels to these questions, and then start working to resolve those issues.
