TL;DR

Whom am I speaking to? Who is this going to help?

My Practical Experience

My Mind Dump.

Many people despair on this or that. Often, anguish comes when we see a potential future we could have had.

And perhaps that’s what’s keeping us in our current bad habits.

We sometimes do thing we know we don’t want to do. Why? Because we don’t know what we are sacrificing when we repeat our bad habits.

Thankfully, the solution to this is simple, one of the two options will suffice:

  1. Think Big. Visualize the most amazing like you can have. Go crazy big.
    • Now, each time you repeat a bad habit, let that image show you what you are sacrificing for a mere few seconds of pleasure
  2. Maybe you don’t know what you want to be. You don’t know your vision. In which case, answer this one question: what’s the next right move right now? What’s the smallest step forward you know will make you a better person?
    • Personally, for me, this has been procrastination; I will watch YouTube instead of doing my actual work. If anything, this really just hurts my own career prospects.
    • Instead, focus on the now. You know what tasks are ahead of you. Finish those tasks first. That’s it!
