Introduction

Today was the first day I test the theory of “the best place to meet women is at target”.

I’ve read this quote before many places on the internet, and I’ve never taken action on it–but that changed today.

As a single guy who has never dated, I figured I can give this theory the 30-day challenge to see to what extent this theory holds

Observations

I went at around 5pm, to one store. There are two Target’s that are relatively close, so for the time being, I’ll stick with one.

Today was a general sweep of the perimeter of the interior; I traveled in a counterclockwise rotation, going in between aisles as they came.

The store was not that packed, in fact, I saw perhaps 10 people scattered throughout the store.

I mostly saw adult moms (+35s) and staff members. I did see one young couple, which was a cute sight because they seem young and in that “let’s go to Target together” phase of the relationship.

In my honest opinion, I did not see many single girls within my age range.

According to this post by J. Scott Pyles, it seems like I should concentrate my efforts towards the aisles and the back of the store.
